Well...this is my first attempt at a blog. I figured I had better start one so that people who are interested can stay posted on our mundane little lives...as well as the little life of the baby. Michael and I have been calling the baby "Baby Sweetie" but the baby has also acquired a list of nicknames including "Melvin", "Sweet Pea" and "Dougalina".
Today is week 17 and 4 days and I am feeling pretty good! The only bad thing I can see looming off in the distance (aside from labor *shiver*shiver*) is that sleeping is getting to be uncomfortable. Thank God that I am not feeling sick any more...I'll take a year of bad sleep over a month of sickness. Isn't it funny that I will have both...bad sleep and sickness? Ha.
Sarcasm aside, I am getting pretty excited for the baby! I've got some ideas for the baby's room, I'm trying out versions of the most momish recipe known to mankind: the casserole, I've picked out a stack of books that I want to read the baby and a (short) list of possible names has been compiled.
So...as I get the hang of blogging, I'll post some more photos and mindless drivel.
